Kenyan Journalist Arrested Regarding Kampala Attacks

Mogadishu: Bar-kulan: Kenya’s anti-terrorism police unit arrested a local journalist who is connected to the Kampala bombings of July 11 this year.

The journalist, who works with a Mombasa based radio station known as radio Salam, was arrested by police while on vacation in Nairobi. He produces and hosts programs on comparative religious debates and is known as Habib Suleiman.

Police suspect he financially aided and hosted the masterminds of the Kampala bombings. He may face terrorism and murder charges.

Habib joins a number of other Kenyan suspects who were taken to Kampala to face terrorism charges. Most suspects were arrested in Mombasa, the capital of Kenya’s coastal province.
