Burhakaba: One Person Killed in Road Accident
Burhakaba: Bar-kulan: One person died in a road accident that occurred at the Jameada division twenty kilometers away from Burhakabo district.
Four other people who were among the passengers of the vehicle were also injured. They were taken to different hospitals in Mogadishu for treatment. Burhakaba district is part of the Bay region.
The vehicle that was involved in the accident was carrying charcoal from the Bay region to Mogadishu.
Although it is not yet clear what caused the accident, it is believed that the poor condition of the road is the main cause. It is also suspected that the accident may have occurred due to the incompetence of the driver.
Road accidents that occur at the Southern regions of Somalia are increasing due to the poor conditions of the roads in the area. The roads have never been repaired since the collapse of Somalia’s last central government.
