Somali students graduate in Yemen.
Yemen (Bar-kulan):-Somali students who completed their master’s degree in one of Yemen universities held their graduation ceremony yesterday in Aden town.
The students wrote a thesis about the history of Somalia and about the technological advances in telecommunication in Somalia.
One of the graduates who talked to Bar-kulan said that he decided to write his thesis on Somalia’s pats history because foreign authors have written fictional information about Somalia and most of the important parts are not written.
His thesis was more about the struggle for independence and how some of the Somali leaders participated in the fight for freedom.
The student is among a few Somalis who wrote about the country’s history and their books will therefore remain important references on Somalia’s past history.
Most of the information in his thesis is first hand information and narrations from reliable resource persons according to his supervisors.
