Job creation projects start off at Garowe

Garowe:Bar-kulan- Tadaamun organization which based in Puntland region has started projects of job creation for youths who finished their studies in Garoowe toen.

The projects were sponsored by the government of Japan, UNICEF and World trade Union Organization.

The aim of the project is to help youths abstain from engaging themselves in illegal activities like joining Militia groups to get a source of income or traveling illegally to foreign countries.

Head of Tadaamun Organiztaion programs Bashiir Ali Adan who spoke to the youths involved in the job creation project announced that a new office which will help youths in setting up employment projects has been opened. There will be experts who will offer guidelines services to the youth at the office.

District commissioner of Garoowe Mr AbdiaziziNur Elmi, who was among the officials who over saw the project said that they (job creation project) are beneficial and of importance to the youth. He said the youth will achieve many developments via this project. As he welcomed the project, he further added that the project is a victory for the people of the district.

Fatuma Mohamed Ahmed who is one of the beneficiaries said that she was grateful for the skills she acquired and will work hard.

Assistant minister for youth Affairs Said Qoadah who asked national and international organizations to come up with more of job creation programs all over Puntland.
Over 300 youths beneifited from this project which was the first of its kind in Puntland.
